JOB OVERVIEW:
AM Satellite Malachh Islamabad will be responsible for O&M of Satellite Earth Station, VSAT HUB and VSAT Network remote sites across Pakistan.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operation & Maintenance Satellite Earth Station Malachh Islamabad.
- Transmission Planning and Management of SCPC and i-Direct Links.
- Management , activation and troubleshooting i-Direct network.
- Corrective and preventive maintenance relating to Hub and Remote VSATs.
- Testing and commissioning of new links and troubleshoot working links
- Interference and spectrum Management
- Planning and System Engineering for Satellite based solutions.
- Preparing Satellite link budget and network planning.
- Adoptability to work in Shift environment and travelling to remotes areas.
KPIs/TARGETS
- O&M of all NMSs at Earth Stations for monitoring of Satellite links.
- Planned & Emergency Maintenance Activities with minimal outage.
- Customer Complaints handling.
- Coordination with various NOCs.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- B. Sc (Electrical/Electronics) with minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Relevant experience of Satellite / VSAT / Earth Stations, VSATs O&M & installation
- TDMA based IDirect Technology & basic knowledge of IP.
