| Job Description: |
- Testing of calibration of medical equipment and instrumentation.
- Perform electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices and systems.
- Manage Internal and external calibration of medical equipment.
- Internal calibration procedure development and administration.
- Database reporting (SQL, Sybase, Crystal Reports)
- Ensure the operations of testing and calibration services in accordance with quality management system (ISO 9001:2008) and other relevant standards of lab management system (ISO 17025).
- Write and track Work Instructions and Quality Manuals related to calibration
- Ensure external calibration vendor quality
- Knowhow of the calibration methods
- co-ordination skills with various stake holders
- Combining technical experience with company training, address customer needs and issues including testing of calibration of their equipment.
- Completes all necessary paperwork for calibrations
- Manage with design of various systems for proper calibration and reliability functions.
- Assist with instrument selection and, as required, assist in the purchase of instruments to meet calibration requirements.
- Create/Review/Approve internal operating procedures and nonconformance reports through document control software.
- Provide technical support to calibration technicians, maintenance management and engineering.
- Perform data analysis, forecasting, gage R&R and other related studies.
- Deliver results according to defined individual and departmental KPI´s.
- Performs calibration activity in a laboratory environment or at customer location as required.
- Complies with company and customer policies to meet Quality Standards, and Environmental Health and Safety.
- Oversees and supervises calibrations with accurate and timely documentation, ensuring all Team members follow specific policies and procedures, and in a safe manner.
- Provides guidance, direction and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
- Provides oversight and project planning including time codes, schedules, test equipment, documentation, and ensures client requirements are met. Also, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely scheduling, resource allocation, proposal and quotation development.
- Proactively assesses project safety concerns and ensures Team members are in compliance with any and all client and/or site safety requirements.
- Strategically assesses client environments, needs, and requirements to develop and initiate effective solutions and through established solid relationships with clients, delivers successful execution.
- Ensure the smooth operation by utilizing the calibration software.
