Job Description: |
FiveRivers Technologies is looking for a Firmware Engineer.The ideal candidate would have a background in robotics and/or prior experience in building robots or automated systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics or equivalent with 2 - 5 years of experience in working on and/or developing embedded system and/or IoT projects
- C/C++ experience
- Experience working with microcontrollers (PIC, AVR, ARM, etc.)
- Ideally experienced in (8-bit AVR) Arduino library development and/or programming Arduinos
- Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet)
- Knowledge of embedded Linux (Raspberry pi, beaglebone, Odoo, etc.) and related experience would be a plus
- Having knowledge of RTOS would be a plus
- Having prior experience in robotics would be preferred
