Job Description:

Manage/Supervise mechanical technician and other engineers.

Plan/execute/conduct preventive and coorective maintenance/ repairing /modification/ replacement of gear boxes, hydraulic system, engines, transmissions, reeving system and other mechanical devices & components in cranes and machineries.

Plan and conduct cranes structure test including visual inspection, NDT and vibration analysis.

Complete reporting and planning of ongoing projects and perform cost management where necessary.

Keep track of failures, remedial action and modification if any related to the cranes ad machineries.

Plan/execute/conduct corrective action for continuous improvement to improve safety and/or efficiency.

Utilization of Maximo (maintenance planning software) for work-orders, inventory management and purchase requisition.

Supervise/inspect/conduct any installation, modification, testing, commissioning and operation of cranes and machineries when it is required.

Esure parts availability in stock & authorize withdrawals of spare parts.

Prepare some of contract documents and evaluate tendors under supervision and consensus of section manager for installation/modification/ maintenance
