| Job Description: |
Agha Steel Industries Limited is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join their team for the rolling mill located at Port Qasim.
Responsibilities:
- Execute production plans effectively in accordance with standard operating procedures and lean manufacturing principles to achieve production targets
- Identify and propose ways to improve procedures to optimize production, quality, and safety
- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the rolling mill.
- Perform daily tasks delegated by the upper management according to standard operating procedures
- Supervise and assign tasks to workers on a daily basis, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped
- Troubleshoot production and maintenance-related issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Record and report all activities in the logbook, including production data, maintenance activities, and safety incidents
- Maintain product quality by monitoring production processes and conducting quality checks
- Ensure that the work environment is clean, organized, and safe by maintaining proper housekeeping standards
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
