One of the International Shipping Company is looking Seasoned Professional for the position of "HSE Manager" who will be based in Peshawar but candidates having similar skill set from all over Pakistan are encouraged to apply (relocation cost will be given to the right candidate).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring employees' and asset"s health and safety at the facility.
• Implementation of organizational HSSE standards and ensuring compliance. 
• Ensuring the implantation of the HSSE action plan as per the approved business cases.
• Ensuring robust access control at the facility and keeping it up to date as per the standard requirements.
• Liaison with the civil vendor working in the facility to ensure a healthy working relationship and compliance.
• Liaison and connect with the transport vendors/unions for compliance and addressing issues as and when applicable.
• Liaising with the Depot/Warehouse HSSE managers for routine operations.
• Proactively identifying the health and safety related potential issues and taking required actions.
• Conducts risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive measures are undertaken as well as controls and barriers are put in place. 
• Investigates, analysis and reviews all HSSE incidents high potential Near Misses, and unsafe practices within the area. Report all incidents to the center according to the defined framework.
• Conduct post incident reviews for all incidents as required by the Global HSSE, IM & BCM framework, and share findings with all concerned. 
• Conduct HSSE audits of own as well as partner facilities as per global standards. 
• Promptly reporting any incident(s)/accident(s) including scuffles, brawls, etc. as per the reporting chain.
• Drive initiatives towards cultural transformation across the area/ functionalities (e,g, Safety Differently, HSE improvement plan, etc.).
• Influence, engage, and support Senior Managers and personnel in developing a safety and resilience culture.
• Implement best practices by embedding strategic HSSE, IM, and BCM elements in business unit operating and resourcing plans.
• Timely reporting for any malfunctions in safety and security-related equipment and taking necessary measures for rectification.
• Ensuring all security personnel employed at the facility are fit for duty and any issue(s) including domestic/psychological be reported ASAP.
• Help operations staff and all concerned in the n incident investigation(s). 
• Ensuring a healthy working environment with all concerned.
• The position is Peshawar-based and takes applicants from all over Pakistan.

Education: Minimum Bachelor/equivalent 

Experience: 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
