Job Brief:
Content Editor creates intuitive navigation and edits content for the websites we develop. This position will organize and migrate content to make it easily accessible to a varied of users. A content editor edits text, images, and information displayed on a website in compliance with web usability and accessibility standards.
Responsibilities:
• Edit web content based on Best Practices
• Meet or exceed content metrics, quality standards, and team expectations
• Proactively communicate with team members, including the Web Content Specialist and Resource Manager on the status of projects as well as any other pertinent project information
• Actively participate in departmental and team meetings
• Identify opportunities for process and decency improvements to the Content SME
Requirements:
• Experience applying editing and/or proofreading standards
• Prior relevant working experience
• Basic skill level with Microsoft Excel (can present static data on spreadsheet, high level understanding of Home, Review, and View tab)
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to stay focused on task for extended periods of time
