| Job Description: |
We are looking for a CCTV Officer, who is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security and safety of a particular area using CCTV cameras. The primary job of a CCTV officer is to ensure that any suspicious or criminal activity is captured on camera and reported to the appropriate authorities.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitoring live CCTV footage and keeping an eye on suspicious activity, including theft, vandalism, and violence.
- Communicating with other security personnel, such as security guards, to coordinate a response to incidents captured on camera.
- Reporting incidents and providing evidence to the authorities as necessary.
- Maintaining and updating a log of all incidents captured on camera, including any action taken to address them.
- Identifying potential security risks and suggesting ways to improve the security measures in place.
- Testing and maintaining CCTV equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Ensuring that all CCTV footage is stored securely and following data protection regulations.
- Providing support during emergency situations, such as evacuations or lockdowns.
- Assisting with the installation of new CCTV cameras or upgrades to existing systems.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and members of the public.
