The content writer will be writing content for various platforms. He/she is expected to help us drive more value through online content, having understood our target audience. The content writer is also expected to analyze marketing metrics and collaborate across departments in order to execute initiatives. This position requires a proven track record of writing content and analyzing it in terms of engagement, lead generation and conversion. It also requires a high level of creativity to use data-driven insights to improve content. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong writing portfolio, a degree in English/ Mass Communication & Journalism and relevant work experience.

Job responsibilities:

• Create grammatically correct, well-researched, and plagiarism-free promotional and non-promotional content (blog posts, articles, guest posts, descriptions, use cases, case studies, etc.) according to defined campaigns to drive leads and educate the target audience.
• Use the best practices of SEO and other digital marketing techniques that are in trend to create content
• Understand the platform before writing content for one.
• Analyze the content marketing metrics and make changes as and when needed according to the performance of the content.
• Proof-read and edit the content of other members of the team and give feedback as required.

Qualifications & skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English/ Journalism
• Knowledge of SEO and other digital marketing techniques in trend
• Knowledge of web analytics, keyword planner will be preferred
• Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Experience writing for a B2B audience
• Experience using CMSs will be preferred
• Ability to conduct extensive research
• Ability to work independently with very little supervision
• Positive attitude towards feedback and criticism
• Ability to take initiative and bring new ideas
