Job Description:

Job Purpose:

To ensure that quality in CPI’s interventions of the Programmes.             

Technical Level

·       Assist Project Engineer in conducting technical survey of CPIs / damage assessment in the   

·       Villages

·       Assist Project Engineer in Design and preparation of cost estimates of CPIs.

·       Assistant Project` Engineer in preparing sub project proposals for every individual CPI.

·       Assist Project Engineer in guiding and training of communities in implementation of water

·       And sanitation schemes.

·       Assist Project Engineer in making case studies and reports of successful CPIs.

·       Monitoring of schemes.

·       Ensure quality of material

·       Assist Project Engineer in financial management of schemes funds

·       Conducting training for Operation and maintenance schemes

·       Assist field Engineer on job training of community during implementation of a CPI.

·       Coordinate with staff in other organs of the programme

·       Preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly  work plans

·       Reporting progress to Project Coordinator

·       Preparing presentation in case of official visitor’s arrival in the office.Participation in the PPM and staff meetings

Operational Level

·       Conducting technical survey of CPIs in the villages.

·       Preparing sub project proposals for every individual CPI.

·       Monitoring of schemes.

·       Ensure quality of material

Organization Level

·       Ensure compliance with organizational policies & procedures in true spirit for effective delivery of services to communities.

·       In depth understanding of organizational values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.

·       Abide by the organization’s zero tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization / empowerment of communities on coping mechanism so that they can raise voice as & when feel inappropriate.

·       Assist in identification & documentation of organizational successes for show casing organization’s work

·       Participation and facilitation in implementation of organization’s seasonal programmes.

·       Special attention to inclusion during the implementation of CPIs.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its SEAH (sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. We have zero tolerance policy towards SEAH and doesn’t support any action that promote or encourage SEAH
